Storage Access:
Are storage units open 24 hours?
- StoreEase units are not open 24/7, but most of our facilities offer extended access hours—typically from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM—to accommodate a wide range of schedules.
Can I access my storage unit after hours?
- Many of our facilities provide early morning and late evening entry, usually between 5 AM and 10 PM. This flexible schedule allows you to visit your unit outside of traditional business hours.
Do storage units have electricity or outlets?
- Most storage units do not include electrical outlets for safety reasons. A few facilities may offer powered units, but please contact one of our virtual managers for assistance.

- A 5x5 unit is about the size of a small closet. It fits a dresser, small mattress set, and a few boxes.
How big is a 10x10 storage unit?
- A 10x10 unit is the size of a small bedroom. It fits the contents of a one-bedroom apartment, including major appliances.
What can fit in a 5x5 storage unit?

What is climate-controlled storage?
- Climate-controlled storage maintains steady temperature and humidity to protect sensitive items like wood furniture, electronics, photos, and documents.
Do I need climate-controlled storage?
- If you’re storing furniture, electronics, artwork, or items long-term, climate control is recommended. For short-term or outdoor items, a standard unit may be fine
What can I store in a non-climate-controlled unit?
- Tools, outdoor equipment, holiday décor, and other durable items that aren’t sensitive to temperature swings.

Are storage units secure?
- Yes. StoreEase facilities use features like 24/7 surveillance, gated entry, smart locks, and on-site monitoring.
How secure are StoreEase storage units?
- Security is a top priority at StoreEase. Our facilities are equipped with smart access control to your units and 24/7 video surveillance to help protect your belongings. Can you store a car in a storage unit?

- A 10x20 fits most cars. Larger trucks or SUVs may need a 10x30. Please feel free to reach out to our Virtual Managers to find the right fit for you.
How do I prepare my car for long-term storage?
- Best practices for storing a vehicle includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Wash and wax the exterior
- Change the oil and top off fluids
- Disconnect or trickle charge the battery
- Inflate tires properly
- Cover the vehicle to protect from dust

Insurance & Rules:
Does renters insurance or homeowners insurance cover storage units?
- Homeowners and/ or renters insurance can cover storage; however, it will depend on your policy. StoreEase requires all customers to have insurance coverage for their stored items, which can either be purchased during the rental process through our approved provider or satisfied by providing proof of an existing policy that meets our requirements.
What can you not store in a storage units?

- Firearms or explosives
